making a keepsake box from sea driftwood

finding a suitable piece of driftwood was the start.i needed a good solid piece with no holes , i wont bore you with the detail of how i made it, the pics say it all.The sea driftwood i chose had been laying in my shed over 2 years,iv learnt it takes that long to totally dry out [ had been out in the sea years praps decades totally salt water immersed]and its now finished and on sale in my etsy shop
