as a kid i loved the skyjets ride – i pulled a lever and with a hiss the jet lifted up . im remember it was powered upwardly below the arms by compressed air ram cylinders . i THINK it was at Great Yarmouth that i first went on the skyjets tho it was quite a common ride back in the days .Ive made this seaside ride [and the “air cylinders” are below each arm ] using sea driftwood/sea shells and other items i collected on the tideline on my local beach.Soon enough it will be for sale in my etsy shop.Hope you are having happy days!
